01 - 12 slices white sandwich bread, crusts removed

02 - 4.2 ounces canned tuna in water, drained
03 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
04 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
05 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
06 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
07 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
→ Decoration
08 - 24 black olive slices for eyes
09 - 24 small capers for decoration
10 - 1 small carrot, peeled and finely diced for optional star points
# Directions:
01 - Using a star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out star shapes from each bread slice to yield 24 stars.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, chopped chives, salt, and pepper; blend thoroughly.
03 - Spread a generous spoonful of the tuna mixture onto half of the bread stars.
04 - Top each filled star with an unfilled star to create sandwiches.
05 - Press two black olive slices onto one point of each sandwich to form eyes, placing a caper at the center of each olive slice.
06 - Use small diced carrot pieces to decorate the tips of the star points for added detail.
07 - Arrange sandwiches on a platter and serve chilled.
