Dark Chocolate Strawberry Dips (Printable)

Juicy strawberries coated in smooth dark chocolate with optional nut and white chocolate toppings.

# What You Need:

→ Fruit

01 - 20 large fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried, leaves intact

→ Chocolate

02 - 7 ounces high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped

→ Optional Toppings

03 - 2 tablespoons chopped toasted nuts (pistachios, almonds, or hazelnuts)
04 - 2 tablespoons melted white chocolate (for drizzling)
05 - 2 tablespoons sprinkles or edible glitter

# Directions:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to place the dipped strawberries.
02 - Put chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt over simmering water using a double boiler, stirring until smooth. Alternatively, melt in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each.
03 - Hold each strawberry by the leaves and dip into the melted chocolate, twirling to coat evenly.
04 - Allow excess chocolate to drip off, then place the strawberry on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Immediately sprinkle with nuts or sprinkles if desired before the chocolate sets. For white chocolate drizzle, wait until the dark chocolate has firmed up, then drizzle melted white chocolate using a fork or piping bag.
06 - Repeat the dipping and topping process with remaining strawberries. Let the chocolate set at room temperature for about 30 minutes or refrigerate briefly to speed setting.
07 - Serve chilled or at room temperature for best flavor.
